Maple Ridge Farm was founded over 100 years ago by Cal's Great Great Grandfather. The farming and country
living has been handed down from generation to generation. One trip to Maple Ridge Farm and you'll
understand the meaning of truly peaceful and fun country living with old fashioned family values.
Back in the 1970's Cal started having hayrides, campfires, and good old family fun with friends and relatives.
Once the Grandchildren were in school, there was an occasional hayride for the kids' classes. Everyone always
enjoyed Linda's way of taking care of EVERYTHING while Cal's wit and love for fun always made it a great
time for everyone.
After a few years, the occasional hayride for a "few" took on a life of its own. Cal remembers having a casual
conversation with his Insurance Agent one day. They were talking about the hayrides, when Cal told his Agent
that they had a few events each year and how much he loved helping others to have fun. His Insurance Agent
asked Cal, "When you say a few, what do you mean?"
To this Cal replied, "Oh, last year we had 500 or so people, I suppose."
Of course his Insurance Agent explained why Cal needed insurance to keep having his "few" events. Shortly
after, his kids and Grandchildren encouraged him to turn it into a small business - besides he could use a little
extra money to just to afford the Insurance!
Maple Ridge Farm Hayrides was born.
Since the beginning, the Hayride Event has become a passion for both Cal and Linda. Maple Ridge Farm caters
to folks like:
- Big Brother's and Sisters
- Church Groups
- Boy Scouts
- Girl Scouts
- Daycares
- Class Reunions
- And many more!
and still have an occasional family cookout! Cal and Linda only ask a few things in return for using their
beautiful "Parks in the country":

FUN and let them do most of the work for YOU!
